Flower Country (花の国)
Scoundrels trampling the lovely flowers is unforgivable!
Arcade World 1

World 1 Area 1
A pretty simple level with a small amount of obstacles. The Bunshin item makes its debut here, so learn to use it.

Rank C/D

World 1 Area 2
Another simple level, but this is where the Wing item makes its debut. Learn to become familiar with it.
Rank A
Rank B
Rank C
Rank D

World 1 Area 3
The first roller coaster stage. Learn to duck and jump over signs (who put them there, anyway?) and marvel at the rotating backgrounds.
Rank A/B/C/D

World 1 Area 4
This is the last area of World 4, so watch out for see saws that can saw you and ammonite enemies rollin’ around. It’s dark and creepy with spikes aplenty.
Rank A/B/C/D
Arcade Boss

Great Condor
The game is Janken, better known in English as Rock, Paper Scissors. Your hand is decided randomly by a roulette on the bottom of the screen. If you've got a winning hand, attack with any button, but if you've got a losing or a tied hand and attack anyway, you'll lose a round. The same applies to the Great Condor. Defend if he has a winning hand. Best 2 out of 3 wins the game.
Mega Drive World 1

World 1 Area 1
Basically the beginner's level. Learn to know the controls and the environment here. This level is based off of World 1 Area 1 of the Arcade version.

World 1 Area 2
You'll first learn how to spread your wings here with the Wing power-up! There's a lot of air to cover, and you may even reach a warp door with these new found wings! This level is based off of World 1 Area 2 of the Arcade version.

World 1 Area 3
Pretty straightforward and plain level.

World 1 Area 4
One of the cool and more unique levels of Marvel Land are the roller coaster levels. Your greatest threat is the fact your platform is moving all the time. That, and signs are all too happy to get in your way to push you off the rollercoaster, so that you can fall down to your doom. This level is based off of World 1 Area 3 of the Arcade version.

World 1 Area 5
A small mountain resides in the middle of this stage, allowing you to go under, over, or through the mountain. Going over means seeing a lot of hachimittus.

World 1 Area 6
Being the first level inside a castle wall, there will be many bricks for you to stand on. Usually, in levels with a brick castle wall, there are two paths: the low road and the high road. I suggest the high road.

World 1 Area 7
You're almost at the boss of this world at this point, just watch out for a bunch of invisible warp points. There's also a pretty cool warp point right near the beginning of the stage under the spiked ceiling over the platform that goes up and down, and it takes you very near the end of this stage next to a bunch of Medusa Heads. This level is based off of World 1 Area 4 of the Arcade version.
Mega Drive Boss

Great Condor
The Great Condor holds Florrie captive, and in order to defeat him, you have to play janken (Rock, Paper, Scissors). What your hand is and what his hand is is determined by the roulette on the bottom of the screen. When the roulette stops, determine if you should attack or defend. If you are rock, and he is scissors, attack him and you'll win a round. However, if he attacks you instead, you'll still win one round. If he defends the attack, no points are given and you'll have a tie. If you are paper and he is scissors, defend to null his attack. Don't attack him, or you've lost a round. To attack, press the action/jump button, and to defend, press the d-pad in any direction. Best two out of three rounds wins the game.
