Localization Changes

• The Japanese version of the game doesn't contain parallax scrolling in certain stages, while some stages in the English Localization have had their background parallax scrolling-ized.
• One improvement in the English Localization is the ability to continue after a Game Over. In the Japanese version, if you Game Over'd, it would automatically take you to the title screen after giving the password.
• Some character names and their occupations were changed. For example, in the Japanese version, Florrie is the Fairy of the Flowers, but in the English Localization, Flora is the Fairy of the Rides.

Dush or Push?

In the Japanese version, this little pushy thing says dust, probably to indicate it's a garbage bin, but it was changed to the word push in the English versions.

Bunny's Ears

In the Japanese version, Bunny actually has bunny ears. These were removed from the English Localization.

Haircut

In the Japanese version, Prince Paco had longer hair coming off the back of his head. The hair was removed from the domestic versions.

Arcade vs. Mega Drive

• Arcade version has a more pastel color palette.
• Mega Drive has more levels, and takes most of the levels from the Arcade version and makes some tweaks to them.
• Some enemies from the Arcade version didn't make it into the Mega Drive version. Conversely, the Mega Drive version adds many new enemies.
• The Mega Drive version add a new prologue.
